Morocco’s blue city, Roman heritage and historic Fes
This private three-day route from Casablanca combines Rabat, Chefchaouen and the cultural heritage of Fes. It is a rewarding introduction to northern Morocco but requires a fairly active schedule, especially if you want guided city visits along the way.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Casablanca, Rabat and Chefchaouen
Depart Casablanca for Rabat and visit selected sites according to your start time. Continue towards the Rif Mountains and enjoy the blue-painted medina of Chefchaouen, with an overnight stay in town or nearby.
Day 2 — Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes and Fes
Spend some time in Chefchaouen before travelling south. Possible stops include the Roman archaeological site of Volubilis and the imperial heritage of Meknes, with arrival in Fes for the night. Stops depend on time and your interests.
Day 3 — Fes Medina and return to Casablanca
Explore the lanes, traditional workshops and history of Fes, potentially with a private local guide. Afterwards, return to Casablanca or arrange an alternative drop-off if agreed before booking.
