Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Casablanca, Rabat and Chefchaouen
Begin near the Atlantic coast and explore selected Rabat landmarks on the way to the blue streets of Chefchaouen.
Day 2 — Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes and Fes
Enjoy the Rif setting before heading towards Roman heritage at Volubilis and the imperial architecture of Meknes, continuing to Fes for the night.
Day 3 — The historic medina of Fes
Dedicate time to Fes, with an optional local guide to explore its intricate medina, historic architecture and artisan neighbourhoods.
Day 4 — Fes, Middle Atlas, Ziz Valley and Merzouga
Travel through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas towards the Sahara dunes. The landscape changes significantly as you descend through the Ziz Valley.
Day 5 — Merzouga and Erg Chebbi
Enjoy the desert scenery and a more relaxed pace. Optional experiences, a camel activity and camp arrangements can be discussed before your booking.
Day 6 — Merzouga, Todra Gorge and Dades
Continue through southern Morocco’s gorge and valley landscapes, with scenic stops and accommodation in the Dades region.
Day 7 — Dades, Ouarzazate, Aït Ben Haddou and Marrakech
Explore kasbah country and cross the High Atlas to Marrakech, allowing time for the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou.
Day 8 — Marrakech city discoveries
Enjoy a focused Marrakech programme with the option to request a local guide, specific historic sights, traditional markets or gardens.
Day 9 — Departure or onward travel
Arrange an appropriate transfer or additional sightseeing according to your flight or next destination.
